Astronomical occurs as jazz/funk group from New Orleans. Originally formed within 1994 as an octet (under the title Galactic Prophylactic), a class action was presently pare to an implemental sextet comprised of: guitar player Jeff Raines, bassist Robert Mercurio, jazz percussionist Stanton Moore, saxophonist Ben Ellman and Hammond organist Rich Vogel, later adding Theryl DeClouet on vocals.

A class action was began once Raines & Mercurio, childhood friends from either a Washington D.C. area, moved to New Orleans together for college, and became enamored with the local funk scene, populated by such legendary acts as The Meters and Professor Longhair. There it teamed by having noted Future Orleans drummer Stanton Moore, world health organization one of these days became a drive behind Galactic.

Within 2004, a b& parted ways by having vocalizer DeClouet, and okay, prove my point as an subservient class action.

A b& is constantly on the road, and keep around shared shows by having such acts when Live, Counting Crows, the Allman Brothers Band, The Roots, Widespread Panic, B.B. King, and Jurassic 5.
